I know...but I can't help it! I think the Mr. Wallace fella stated that he played AAU ball with some of our recent recruits...does anyone know who he is referring to?Originally Posted by CDeb
Also....will the Cajuns get to play the mighty tigers again next season?![]()

I believe Cooke has also been on the practice court as he enrolled in January. That will be a lot of new guys next year. However, Courtney Wallace said something in the article in the Advertiser about his signing. He said he has played AAU ball with several of the guys who have signed with us. If that is the case, we may not take as long to develop chemistry and for guys to learn their roles as some fear.Originally Posted by CDeb

It is nice that Wallace played with Daigle. However, Gary is not likely to be eligible so that is a moot point.Originally Posted by SlappyCajun

What would be his likely path for next season if not eligible? Juco or sit out?Originally Posted by Cajunsmike
It is not a moot point unless Cajun basketball gets cancelled after next season, because Gary will sit out a year as a Prop and then play for the Cajuns. So, it actually will make a difference.Originally Posted by Cajunsmike
I know fans do not like to sign guys who are not eligibile, but if LaRyan Gary were eligible right now he would have had offers from tons of teams across the country, and it would have been very difficult for the Cajuns to get him.
You seem to have confidence Gary will pay his own way to school and earn his eligibility. Hopefully that is the case. We had three good years from Blaine Harmon who went that route.Originally Posted by SlappyCajun
