Been to Hawaii. Way over rated. Give me Mexico any day over Hawaii, especially Cabo San Lucas and its only about 2 hours away.

Been to both AK & HI. Lots of great things to see at both places. If I could travel back to only one, would be AK.
    Both are a _____ to get there & $$.

  3. UL Football Re: Best Bowl Cities (multi pic)

Have not been to AK, but that is OK too much wilderness for me. Took in a few islands and except for a little too much humidity it was heaven. Then again humidity is a close friend of us Cajuns. Figure I could never handle bears raiding my car, home, or taking a leak that freezes before it hits the ground.

Both trips were in July. Like a nice LA October day, LOL. Absolutely loved it, though I did almost hit a Moose cow & calf. DAMN that cow was big. Would have really messed up the SUV I had rented. I also have no interest in visiting during the leak freezing months

The Nechsters like Shreveport becasue they can do a bunch of downtown window shopping on the morning after the game. Stores with parking spots and TV's in the display windows (and speakers outside) get most of the attention. They identify well with the redneck street people.

ShreveNeck, get out of Caddo parish. There Is NOTHING in Shreveport that any player I have ever talked to could rave about ...except for the airport allowing for a quick exit.

The stadium is also a dump. I went to the probowl a few years back and the stadium sucked IMO. It's not the type of place you will go and have a festive bowl atmosphere as pretty as it is there.

Wow. You couldn't pay me to go to Mexico. I'll take Maui and Kuwai any and everyday of the week.

Well you can absolutely pay me to hit a few toursit spots in Mexico, but then you are stuck in a very small world, whiile almost every inch of the tropical paradise is paradise. I am still saying for a trip New Orleans, because it is the best party town in the USA, ask the NFL, then Hawaii, San Diago.

Just as an FYI, Aloha Stadium was undergoing renovations when we were there in April.

If someone pays you to go to Cabo, you can forward that trip to me. Thanks in advance.
