Thread: Heisman...Who gets it? ... RGIII

Default Heisman...Who gets it? ... RGIII

IMO it should be RG3 hands down, with Monte Ball in 2nd.

RG3 is by far the best QB and player in football this year.

I agree 100%. I said the exact same thing to a friend last night.

RG3 is the best QB in football, but will get screwed. The best player in college football in 2011 is Tyren Mathieu & he will certainly get screwed. That's an award that isn't worth the weight of the metal they use to make it.

I disagree, the Honey Badger changed momentum in some games but LSU is so much better than any team out there that they do not need him to win.

RG3 on the other hand IS Baylor football at the moment. But just my opinion.

Don't blame you one bit for having that opinion. The guy is flat out good to maybe great. But Honeybadger can't help it if he plays on a loaded team. My thinking is on a team where every player is great & every position is psychotically deep, he has still distinguished himself as the best of the best & has been a game changer for the NC team.

RG3 is a great player, but I think its down to Richardson and Luck. I say Richardson gets it

I think the Honey Badger is a great player, but not Heisman worthy due to character issues.

If RGIII doesn't win it, then it's time to stop giving out the award.

Mathieu is nowhere near as deserving as RGIII. Really, it's not even close, Kyle.

Tyran Mathieu is a very, very good player but he is also surrounded by very, very good players and because of that he is able to play the nickel and play in spots that are advantageous for his skillset. In that way, he's kind of a product of his environment.

Robert Griffin III is directly responsible for everything Baylor accomplishes on offense.

Overrated award that is overhyped by ESPN

Mathieu has been pretty amazing, but I"m not sure if he is the best DB in LSU's backfield.

Love your posts, but you need to go back & watch those punt returns from last night again. I see your point & like I said RGIII is a monster. I still think Mathieu is the best & biggest impact player in college football & would be penalized for being a defensive player & being on such a great team.
