Thread: Which Ragin' Cajun has had the best Pro Career

  1. Default Which Ragin' Cajun has had the best Pro Career

I'm not going to list their accomplishments (at the start) I just want to see what your raw opinion is. Though anyone can list certain accomplishments in their posts. You can also list honorable mention pro athletes for a future poll

  2. #2

    UL Football Brian Mitchell

Brian Mitchell is going to be an NFL Hall of Famer. He's had the best pro career.

  3. #3

    UL Baseball Ron Guidry

I think it's hard to argue against Ron Guidry. IMHO he has had the most high profile pro career.

When the New York Yankees put you into monument park side-by-side with Babe Ruth, Joe D. and the rest, I think that says it all! Now they are even bringing him back as the pitching coach!!!!!!!!!

  4. #4

    UL Baseball Ron Guidry

    Louisiana Lightning Ron Guidry.

  5. UL Football Brian Mitchell

    Hall of famer Brian Mitchell

That is Future Hall of Famer Brian Mitchell. I think it is close between BMitch and RonG. My vote was for Ron because of his Cy Young award and his induction into the Yankees' Monument Park. I think he'll be in Cooperstown one day too. Brian will likely be in Canton, so it is really close. Being a standout on the alltime best sports franchise in America is what made the difference to me. Can't go wrong with Mitchell though.

    UL Football Brian Mitchell

For me, it was a coin flip between Ron and Brian. Both had OUTSTANDING professional careers. I ended up voting for Brian because of him being ranked 2nd ALL-TIME in all-purpose yardage in the NFL, only behind Jerry Rice.

Of course, as you probably know, Brian finished his career in FIRST place ALL-TIME in a.p. yardage. Rice managed to eke out another season or so to pass Brian up. Aarrrrgggghhhh!

  9. #9

This is so COOL Leigh Hennessy

I went to school with Leigh. She's got my vote for the "best look'in".

  10. #10

    Endurance Training Hollis Conway

Don't forget a two-time Olympian and Silver Medalist....
