RIP Red.
RIP Red.
I, like so many other members, enjoyed getting to visit with Red when he was at the front desk. I was honored that Red called me his friend. Lafayette loses a huge part of what makes us a great city with his passing. RIP, SIR!!
I believe he paid to have the goal post replaced after the A&M game.
Part of the Legacy of Lafayette, RIP Red
Red was great in every aspect of life, God, his family, his friends and his business. He was a legend and a humble man. We lost such an awesome person. God Bless him and his family.
We lost a great man.
When I was interested in becoming a member at Red’s, it was Red himself who gave me the tour of the facility to show me all of the amenities they had to offer. At the time, I didn’t really know much about him since I had just moved to Lafayette, but he couldn’t have been more welcoming and receptive when giving me the tour. He was always very nice and took the time to make the members feel at home. He will be greatly missed.
Red, as with many great individuals, leaves the legacy of a Godly role model. The best way to honor such people is to follow the example he left.
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpen another. Proverbs 27:17
I first met Red when I joined Red’s 51 years and remained a member for 46 years. We had many conversations along the way and as many others have developed a close relationship. As Mark grew older he and I became close as well. The Lerille’s played a huge part in my lifetime memories I’ll always cherish. Red leaves behind a wonderful legacy Mark will carry forward with class and dignity, without any doubt. RIP my friend❤️ and prayers. Condolences to the Lerille’s and all who grieve his passing.
