Do not know and Sumlin nor the University are talking. Do know that Sumlin is making over a million per year and the city has all of the talent anyone would need to win.

And I've seen denials about the deal too. According to other reports, Houston has not been approached WRT ASU requesting to discuss the position with Sumlin; and of course they have their conference championship this weekend. Would be incredibly bush league for ASU to approach him right now!

Don't know about this coach one way or the other, but I kind of think he is riding on his quarterbacks ability. I think some people can remember a coach like that, and the school to our east bought into it. Curly owes Brett a lot of money is all I am saying.

Sumlin has a lot of that IT factor you want from a coach. He is young, charismatic, and works the alumni and media well etc. No doubt Keenum makes them better but I believe he is the real deal.

If Sherman is indeed out at aTm, Sumlin might want to see if he has a shot there before he gives ASU an answer.

I hate to even ask this--but would anybody offer the TECH coach??? I hope he stays as I think we can out recruit him!!!!

Sumlin will be A&M's top choice, they have to take into account that he was a former coordinator in Aggieland in 01-02, and the last UH coach to move to another in state school (Briles) has done an amazing job at Baylor. I'd be shocked if he doesn't end up in College Station.
