I am almost positive they will hire a guy with Texas ties. Someone who has strong relationships in Texas. They know now they have an upper hand on the University of Texas, even more with UT having a bad year. Moving into the SEC, the have to hit a home run in recruiting this year. I doubt they will go back to the NFL for a coach. Keep an eye on Houston's HC Kevin Sumlin for this job also.

Sumlin per Houston radio & TV has accepted the A&M job. This keeps Fedora at USM for now. Also may free up some LA kids who committed to Houston.

Perhaps Houston's defense was distracted with this news. They sure did not come close to stopping USM.

Not sure how that's gonna work out for A&M. Sumlin, including today, is 32-10 with Case Keenum at QB, and 3-7 without him. Not to mentioned he just got pasted in the biggest game he's ever coached.

Sumlin is a very good coach. A good portion of that 3-7 record was also without Keenum's backup. Tough to win in Div I with the third string QB.

True. I actually like the guy. I hope he does well wherever he goes. That was rough today though. They looked awful.

Broadway was third string, and lost the job to another frosh (Piland). So they actually played with the #4 guy from when they started the season.

ok that makes it not stupid. our back up next year and fututre starter was 4th string.
