I think it's called having a chip on your shoulder. They are definitely motivated.

No doubt. I also believe if the shoe were on the other foot & LSU had lost to Alabama by a field goal the powers that be would have figured out by now why LSU didn't deserve a second chance. I was wondering though. If OSU were to be placed in the BCS game, who would take their place in the Orange Bowl or whatever BCS gam it is they play in? Is it possible that folks would hold them down because nobody else in their conference is "worthy" of a BCS bowl?

I wonder if voters realize how good both those teams are though? BTW, anybody got news on the ASU/Troy game today?

If OSU goes to the BCS Champ game, the BCS is not required to take any other Big 12 team. So to answer your question, NO.

Yes sir. They have a chance to become the first 11 win Sunbelt team if they win their bowl game. No doubt a heck of a year and great turnaround from last year.

I couldn't believe they had an announced crowd of only around 14,000 today. Not sure what the weather was like but stAte fans should be ashamed of themselves.

One thing I realized traveling there earlier this year, is there is no population to pull a fan base from. I mean Jonesborough is surrounded by delta & cottonfields from the South for sixty miles & the Ozarks to the West & North. To the East is Tennessee & just North is Missouri. They are probably topped out at 16,000/game.

I had to laugh last night when one of the announcers, decrying the BCS, proposed a "playoff system". Of course his system would consist of only six teams picked by a committee. Pretty coincidental that his " playoff" would have six handpicked teams and there are six AQ conferences. Nothing shows media bias more than their constant exclusion on the non-AQ conference champs from any playoff scenario.
