I hope Mullen stays in Starkville. In two-plus seasons as Mississippi State's head coach, he's 2-11 against SEC Western Division opponents, and those two wins have come against Ole Miss. He's finished tied for 4th, 5th and 5th in the SEC West. As long as he keeps beating Ole Miss, State fans are happy. Ole Miss is terrible, but State seems to be happy being just north of the worst. Good for them.

I don't think they are happy with 2-11......next year will be important, year 4. Outside of 5th year seniors, the entire team will be his recruits. Wouldn't surprise me if they finish in top 25 next year
