Default The main school we need to worry about right now is Penn State

If the pedophile enablers can land Dan Mullen, who is supposed to be high on their list, then that leaves an opening at Mississippi State. Ole Miss is run by buffoons so they won't hire Mark Hudspeth, but I truly believe that Mississippi State would interview and offer Hud the job pretty quickly. Their fans all want him and he wants to be there.

Another scenario to worry about is Larry Fedora being hired by Ole Miss, but once again I don't see Ole Miss fans being ok with hiring Southern Miss's coach. However, if Ole Miss does reach out and snag Fedora then there's another open job in Mississippi and we don't have the same amount of money as USM. We can offer Hudspeth close to what they can, but they can offer him more money and a chance to be back home in Mississippi.

Once you get over the depression, this is kind of fun.

Also he would be taking over a program in excellent shape, and has been for most of my adult life. Just thinking the football gods are not going to take us down this year.

Penn State is in great shape talent wise. Not on probation, can go to bowls, has all of it's 85 grant and aid available, can be on television, and still has over a hundred million people living within 100 miles for it's recruiting base. Another top guy coaching at Miami might be willling to leave there as he was not aware of all the troubles they were in.

Mullen is said to be the brains behind Urban Myles. He got Urban a lot of great players, and when he left Florida went downhill.

Mullen and Tebow left at the same time and by then Cam Newton left the program so Urban was in a tough spot.

Does anybody not have any faith any more? We must remember that it takes two to tango. Remember that while HUD's resume' is incredible to us, there will be big money donors at other schools who may not feel as comfortable with his percieved lack of experience at the upper college level. There is that to weigh against HUD's captivating personality & ultra-positive energy level.

Assuming that all of these jobs are filled & HUD doesn't get or take one of them for whatever reason. UL, having played in the first bowl of the year, with a great fan presence , will have a huge, Huge, HUGE leg up in the recruiting process. It is time to buy tickets & time to show support for Farmer, HUD, & the UL team.

Not that dumb. If Mullen goes to Penn State, "this joker is done at UL"

    Hope I'm wrong!

____ that!! Dont let him leave, he signed a contract.. Hold him to it. He started a job, he needs to finish it!! How does that look when you do a job for one year then bail out to go somewhere else.. Build your track record here to make your resume look better for a bigger job... Miss St is an SEC graveyard... Too hard to recruit there
