UL's last bowl appearance was at the Grantland Rice Bowl in Baton Rouge. What stadium was the game played in that year? I was told that the game was played at Bernie Moore Stadium but can someone confirm this?

Nope, not Bernie Moore. It was a stadium on the north side of town. I don't remember the name.

Former UL safety and NFL great Orlando Thomas led the nation his junior year at UL with 9 INTs and led the NFL his rookie year with the Vikings with 9 INTs (going on to be an NFL All-Pro selection).
