How do you think the talent we have now would fit into a tripple option system. Like the one that Monken runs at Ga. Southern. Just thinking ahead if we lose Hud to old mississippi.

yep and Green is 6-6 220. Big difference in size. Plus Green can block. I think Fig can be really good for us but I dont see him lining up at TE

If we still have Hud & staff here, I expect the offense to continue to change based on the talent we get from recruiting. Hud has said before, you acquire the players for the type of system you want to run. We are not there yet, and probably won't be there next year. Hud doesn't try to make our offense perform in a system that the players don't fit. I believe he wants a more open spread offense, and he is moving in that direction as he gets the players he wants. I hope we get to see what his ideal system is really like.

I'm not worried about the offense (although I would like to see more consistency out of the O line). I'm not worried about the secondary, but we need to find linebackers and D linemen that can get a consisten push up front and get into the backfield to pressure the QB. We have been horrible at best over the last few years (this year included) at getting to the QB.

Molbert is a good one. A little more experience will help him. He is a PLAYER.

I am 100% with you. Linemen to block and DL'men to push up front. Those positions may not be "sexy" for football fans, but being solid up front on both sides of the ball allows your skill positions to perform so much better.
