Thread: Next year's offense

  1. Default Next year's offense

QB situation should be pretty good with the 2 freshmen backing up G-Chay and B-Way-------RB position needs help--like a great back or 2---I put Harris at H Back---Can anybody replace Green---yes and no--We played without him and a half of him pretty much this year----We got 3 other guys returning--------The receiver situation looks great----Butler and Figaro come on the scene with Peoples, Sturgent, and Lawson returning----In the line we lose Plouhar and the rest return but need some back ups or NEWies!!!! And Gentlemen what say you?????

We'll be fine at all our skill positions...but we NEED to recruit some linemen that can run and pass block consistently. I know everybody has their bad days, but we've got to be able to run the ball consistently. I think Harris is the right back, and Gautier is the obvious choice for the triggerman, but we need to give them time and holes. If that can happen - with new guys or returning ones - we'll have a great year with an offense potent enough to cover up all veterans we're losing on defense, giving the new guys there time to jell.

Offense should be better next year. Green is the only impact player we are losing. We also have some talented kids who redshirted this year.
Defense will be another story. We are not very good right now and will be losing a lot. We will need some newcomers to step up next year.

If I remember, I'm thinking 6'-2" about 180. Not too big. Zee will probably know better.

Offense has not been a problem for a while. Defense... yikes.

Commitment Jared Johnson of Minden may be the next LG. Through 10 regular season games, Johnson led the area in receiving yards with 1,130 on 69 catches. Twelve of those catches were for touchdowns. 6'6" 205lbs

Its pretty cool to have a cousin that works with coach Hud let me tell you we will be real good next year maybe better. O-Line will be the same lil Quave or someone else I forgot which one fill in for Kyle. As for the WR/TE no worries. The next LG is Jared Johnson he was a hidden gem and is a steal when he signs. Qyen will be at RB next year along with Harris. If Jalen Nixon signs he will be our next Brad McGurie. On the other side of the ball Moten & White will be back in the Secondary. A lil hint we have two transfers one is a FS & the other is a CB both are real good I seen the highlight film. Maybe one more S will transfer in the spring dont know yet I am not giving names. LBs Tre,Jake,Andrew,Marcus Jackson or Justin Anderson. DL not sure yet but Mario Holman,Jesse Broadnax, & Tovell will most likely be move to DE. Hamilton, McCray,Hagans might be the starting DL. Thats all I can give you guys right now.

Don't forget about Jamal Robinson. He will make his name known sooner or later. If we get Butler back in his Freshman form, we will be absolutely stacked at receiver. LG is the man but won't slow us down, imo.

What about Montrel Carter and Effrem Reid(?)-the kid from Dutchtown? Arent those guys supposed to be in the mix at receiver/slot as well?
