There's quite a bit of difference between $6,300 a week here versus $52,000 a week in Oxford.
If he is renting where he is now he is paying a pretty penny. I think you may be wrong. Pretty sure he bought that crib he is in.

I think it is raise time.... Hud has more than paid for an increase by the enthusiasm he has brought to the community, increased awareness, bowl game and of course the increased attendance..... Having said that we should get used to Hud's name being on a lot of "want" lists.... And one day he will take a SEC job... My crystal ball is that he stays for 3 years and takes the Tennessee job as they continue to suck into the near future and will be in the market around that time frame...
If Dooley doesn't win next year, he will be gone.
HUD is likely to get an 75-90% raise depending if we get into a bidding war. I think we can afford $750K to keep him if we need to.
According to my sources, he will be getting a substantial raise after this year to include raises for his staff as well. But if we get into a bidding war with another school, I think that is our limit at this point in time. Again, that is just my opinion. Now if we do keep him and go to three straight bowl games then I could see us realistically paying close to $1M for our HC.
