I am sure he will get a raise next year. There should be something built into his contract for going to a bowl game. Most contracts are incentive based.

I like coach Hud. I dont think we have anything to worry about. I really dont think another school will take a chance on a new coach who has had one good year... Maybe after yr 3 or 4 i can see him leaving, but not now. He seems loyal and motivated to turn this program into a contender like Boise St or TCU.... All i can say is if for some strange reason he leaves us high and dry after one year he will be the most hated man in Louisiana, worse than Saban with the bandwagon fans at that ______hole across the mississippi river.... But i think we have nothing to worry about, because he is not stupid enough to leave this great university after one year with all the great recruits and fans. Geaux Cajuns!!!

Ole Miss = $2.7 million annually for a fired Houston Nutt
UL = $340 thou a year for a currently employed COACH HUD

His wife would like Oxford much better when presented these figures for her 2012 Black Friday budget. It would be understandable if he opted for the alternative.

There's quite a bit of difference between $6,300 a week here versus $52,000 a week in Oxford.

If he interviews and is offered the job, he is gone. What would you do if you got offered a job like that? I suspect Hud is renting a house and did not buy one when he moved here.

Enjoy the ride If he is not gone by the end of next year. he's crazy.

If he is renting where he is now he is paying a pretty penny. I think you may be wrong. Pretty sure he bought that crib he is in.
