Don't forget that Arizona was ranked earlier in the season.
The reason they didn't remain ranked got fired a few weeks ago.
Maken no mistake. Louisiana went toe-to-toe all night with an AQ school with Top-20 talent.
We are probably gonna face a school like Illinois or Purdue in New Orleans, and we will win.
They will not be ready for an all-out Cajun invasion of the Dome baby!
Tom Dienhart is projecting Illinois in the New Orleans Bowl!

I would welcome Illinois. They might bring a few fans!
Today was perfect weather to set up the radio in the yard, throw the ball around, and listen to Stevie P call the game. Besides not getting the stops in critical times, it sounded like drops really hurt today.
Me too. They had a great following. I tend to think that they wouldn't bring quite as many for a New Orleans Bowl as they did for a Sugar Bowl, but even if it's just 10-15K, it would make for a good atmosphere. Also, I just heard that they are the first team to ever lose 6 straight after beginning the year 6-0. Maybe they're deflated about the way their season went in the tank, and just show up to go through the motions. I'd enjoy beating the crap out of a Big 10 school on national tv!!
For the record I was not at the Sugar Bowl when LSU played Illinois.
