Today was perfect weather to set up the radio in the yard, throw the ball around, and listen to Stevie P call the game. Besides not getting the stops in critical times, it sounded like drops really hurt today.

I was at the Sugar Bowl years ago when Illinois played LSU. The Illini brought around 25,000 to that game.

Well, it was the Sugar bowl. If that's all they brought for a BCS Bowl then I would think they would bring around 5,000 for the NO Bowl

Me too. They had a great following. I tend to think that they wouldn't bring quite as many for a New Orleans Bowl as they did for a Sugar Bowl, but even if it's just 10-15K, it would make for a good atmosphere. Also, I just heard that they are the first team to ever lose 6 straight after beginning the year 6-0. Maybe they're deflated about the way their season went in the tank, and just show up to go through the motions. I'd enjoy beating the crap out of a Big 10 school on national tv!!
