Southern Mississippi travels well. This is probably the best choice for the City of Lafayette & the success of the NO bowl.

Agreed and what I have said all along. All bowl games depend on fans and fans coming from too far wouldn't come.

Houston could travel, but like all people in Houston, their roots just aren't with their teams like other cities.

I believe there were eight.

La. Tech, New Mexico and several from the MAC in addition to UL.

I can't think of anyone else offhand.

Go find out who the starting 3rd string left tackle was back in 1946 for the lafayette High school Lions.

Mineshaft we all no you didn't play any sports, because if you did then you would no that there is no such thing as a starting 3rd string? You can't be a starter and a 3rd string at the same time????

I just emailed the conference about this MINIMAL effort on the conference part! I can't wait to hear what their answer is to me. Also sent my Cell # to them, waiting for a call!

Just left the CajunDome having bought 6 tickets to the New Orleans Bowl on the Second level(tickets are $20 + the $3 handling charge each)! I got into my truck and what did Bop tell me and the WHOLE WORLD, but the GRASSY AREA @ Cajun Field has tickets for $10 Bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
