Agreed and what I have said all along. All bowl games depend on fans and fans coming from too far wouldn't come.

Houston could travel, but like all people in Houston, their roots just aren't with their teams like other cities.

    I believe there were eight.

La. Tech, New Mexico and several from the MAC in addition to UL.

I can't think of anyone else offhand.

Mineshaft we all no you didn't play any sports, because if you did then you would no that there is no such thing as a starting 3rd string? You can't be a starter and a 3rd string at the same time????

    LOL!!! LOL!!!

....boy this is one dumb oldman!! (and to think that I always look up to older people, thinking that they have much wisdom and knowledge.....guess I'll just wait and decide after they speak from now on!)

1946??? I guess that makes him about 75 years old.

Man....this guy must have Alzheimer's or something.....because he doesn't know if he was a starter or a 3rd stringer....BIG DIFFERENCE!!

  6. I have a Question I was working on a New Orleans Bowl front page . . .

I was running behind. There is LESS than a week till the New Orleans Bowl so I was working on a NO Bowl front page. I have put those plans on hold.

Because when I go to the main sunbeltsports.org/ webpage they don't seem to care about it, and are promoting South Alabama's basketball team.

UL Football New Orleans Bowl: Grassy Area @ Cajun Field $10 Tickets

Just left the CajunDome having bought 6 tickets to the New Orleans Bowl on the Second level(tickets are $20 + the $3 handling charge each)! I got into my truck and what did Bop tell me and the WHOLE WORLD, but the GRASSY AREA @ Cajun Field has tickets for $10 Bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks J-Bird for costing me double the ticket money!!!!

DaddyCajun just trying to do my little part in helping the cause Bop and Dan have been talking about!

Tape the game, and get out to the game and show ACADIANA'S Support for Football!!

There are sports fans who back the Saints, UL, LSU, ULM, LA TECH, TULANE, McNEESE, TEXAS A&M, TEXAS that all reside in Acadiana and NEED to get their BUTTS out to the NEW ORLEANS BOWL, its good for Business!!!!!
