I think you may be missing the point of why we'd be tremendously disappointed if he left after ONE stinking year. If he really is the coach we all think he is, then he'll be rewarded for staying here, and the millions will come. If he jumps ship after ONE year for the first job to come along, I don't see how we could NOT be upset.

He finished 3rd in the Sunbelt behind 2 unranked teams and lost to a bottom feeder Pac 12 team
He helped get a winning season but with TALENTED PLAYERS

To look at him like he is a Proven Coach at this point of his career would be ludicrous. He is a good coach...but not proven just yet.

There's nothing wrong with people being upset IF it happens WHEN it happens. I personally have no problem with what you and RW are saying, but saying things like if the man goes to a job interview to see where he stands in life that his players should not, the fans should not, & that future recruits should not ever trust him again is doing nothing more than setting the stage for pushing him out of town. That is pure BS & should have been shut down by someone on this board with more seniority than myself the second it was started. Things like that not only make it much easier for someone who's working their @$$ off for you to decide its time to go, it also makes it a lot harder for you to ever replace that person with a top calliber coach.

    With this, I agree 100%.

And like I said before, just because he interviews (IF he does), doesn't necessarily mean he is looking to leave right now.

If you are ok with a coach making all kinds of promises and then just selling out and breaking those promises then you are exactly what you call yourself...Bandwagon Fan. There is no shutting down the truth. Its not driving him out. Its showing that a person shouldnt have a pricetag over monetary values.

Do you go through the hiring process and accept a job for a year that everyone treats you great and you claim to love, then turn your back on them after making promises of longterm productivity and just go to another Job (worse players and attendance and upside) just cause they offer you more money?? if so you are just a shallow pathetic person and Im sure anyone who would do that at ANY job would be looked at in a negative manner.

But you seem to prove yourself of that more times than not with your everyday rants.

Someone with more seniority should have taken those post down? Makes it harder to replace the coach bc of those comments?? Give me a break.

I can't believe people are actually freaking out because he MAY or MAY NOT interview for a better job.. he MAY or MAY NOT leave for a better job. Last time I checked.... 2.5 million > 400,000... Last time I checked SEC > Sun Belt... Last time I checked Hud didn't come here saying hey I'll stay a year and then shoot out.

Chill out people... Take a step back.. enjoy the upcoming bowl game. If he is here next year.. enjoy our success... if he isn't... get on board with the new guy.

I love the fact you guys pick on bandwagon fan. Give the guy a break. He isn't trying to hid the fact that he is new to the program.. he is trying to support it fully though. Guy is a season ticket holder and an RCAF contributor.
