I didn't like the bowl shirt I got from the pep-rally and figured I would make some while I was just playing with ideas in my head. I know we all will be wearing red to the game but I designed these white shirts that people could wear while just around New Orleans. I've gotten a good feedback on them and if enough people seem interested I will talk to somebody in Lafayette about having them made. This is just a rough draft to get an idea, it was also the best I could do on the internet. I got the idea from the I <3 N.Y. shirts changed the heart out for a fleur de lis, the back would read paint the quarter red followed by Geaux Cajuns. The other shirt is simply a red mardi gras bead with a fleur de lis hanging with the paint the quarter red and geaux cajuns on the back also.
I am worried about a white out---too many white shirts---make them RED!!!!!!!
okay no white-out!
Can they change the name of the bowl to the NOLA Bowl?
UL ahs been going to the NO Bowl for 40+ years
UL will face San Diego State in the Dec. 17 R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, with SDSU getting an invitation Sunday evening.
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Blaine Gautier's record-setting passing and a long clutch kick by Brett Baer gave Louisiana-Lafayette fans the kind of thrills they haven't had since Jake Delhomme was playing for the Ragin' Cajuns.
Brett Baer's 50-yard field goal on the final play gives the Cajuns an improbable win in the New Orleans Bowl.
