Thread: ULM-SBC champs (share locked up)

Default ULM-SBC champs (share locked up)

    Let these words sink in.

A school with the smallest budget in 1-A,
A head coach with the smallest salary in 1-A,
A coaching staff with the smallest recruiting budget, if any, in 1-A,
    Small enrollment,
    No facilities,
    Very small fanbase,
    Tradition of losing,
The butt of jokes on this board and many others,

Can now call themselves Sunbelt Conference Champions.

    Congrats Indians. You deserve it.

Hey even if we grab a share you can't take what they earned from them.

We simply must deprive them of sole ownership . . .

Even if we beat them, ULM will still be co-champions with us.

Yes, give them praise for bein able to do what they did with almost nothing, but don't forget, we're still in it, and we're only right above where they are.

    God Bless

In one way, they have one more advantage than us. They are much more than 50 miles away from one of the top programs in America in all sports. They also have a senior QB who has had a great year and he has been healthy the whole year. It took us a couple of games to get our backup ready after an injury.

Despite all that, I agree that the Indians deserve congratulations and I join others in offering it to them.

I believe the only game where Babb might have pulled out a win was the FAU game.

We lost the UCF and A-State games for very different reasons than QB play.

Desmo got us back in the race. He just may have to win it for us.

Let these words sink in. ULM SUCKS!!! Ww will KILL ULM this weekend! I don't care what they've done. What they've done is given us the opportunity to hit them where it hurts. We will take their shot at a bowl game away from them. Let those words sink in. GEAUX CAJUNS!!!

I agree. After all, they have beaten us three years in a row, all when we were supposed to win. It's one thing to be confident and full of pride, it's another to be brash and overconfident. anyhoo, here's to a W by the Cajuns, which will at the very least, secure us a conference championship and keep the ULM Rednecks off of our home field for the NO Bowl.

    God Bless

Already throwing in the towel are you? Wow!

Monroe can't call themselves anything until the final whistle next saturday. Alot of people said we were done after the Arkansas State game but we have bounced back to a .500 record. I am a 2002 alum and I know how long it has been since we had a .500 record this late in the season. Absolutely SHOCKING!

Our team deserves a hell of alot more credit than that!
