Monroe can't call themselves anything until the final whistle next saturday. Alot of people said we were done after the Arkansas State game but we have bounced back to a .500 record. I am a 2002 alum and I know how long it has been since we had a .500 record this late in the season. Absolutely SHOCKING!

Our team deserves a hell of alot more credit than that!

I don't see anyone throwing in the towel; simply giving credit where credit is due. Regardless of what we do saturday they will be SBC Champs/Co-Champs. Again, no one around here saying "Welcome to the NO Bowl".
Here's to a Cajun win and a double indian scalping!

A head coach with the smallest salary in 1-A,
A coaching staff with the smallest recruiting budget, if any, in 1-A,
Small enrollment,
No facilities,
Very small fanbase,
Tradition of losing,
The butt of jokes on this board and many others,

Can now call themselves Sunbelt Conference Champions.

Congrats Indians. You deserve it.

What is even more amazing is how the Ragin Cajuns have done with a 7 million dollar budget. Won the Sunbelt in Basketball, Baseball, and Softball. Still have a chance to be co-champs in Football.
