Will this game be on satellite? If so, what channel? And I don't know much about satellite, but are the stations the same for everyone in the US or do they vary by area?

The reason I am asking is that we are going to New York for the Saints/Jets game and am dissapointed that I won't be able to watch the game. But if it is on satellite and I know which channel, we can find a sports bar in NY that we can catch the game on. Thanks and I hope you guys can help...

Don't alot of sports bars subscribe to ESPN GamePlan? I know here in VA they do. If they are on cable and advertise ESPN GamePlan you should be set. I wouldn't know about sattelite. I hope that helps some.

Anybody have any news on this? Any satellite channel listing so that I can watch OUR Cajuns win in New York?

I would suggest calling sports bars in New York and ask them in advance if they will be showing the cajuns game. Likely they were not before your call, but will do so for customers that want a particular game. Try the Upper West Side because there are a lot of college type bars there, many catering to SEC and ACC crowd and you will probably run into other folks from Louisiana there as well.

The game plan offers so many games that you would need to specially request this game at any sports bar outside of Louisiana. If you are staying at a hotel, just ask the concierge to make the calls.

Thanks for the info! I found a DirectTV site that shows the games that are being played and the specific channels, so that may be my best bet. But this weekend's games are not listed yet. It will be relatively easy if I can walk into a bar on Friday afternoon and tell them I will come back if we can watch Channel XXX at 3:30.

If anybody has anymore specific channel info, it is much appreciated.
