For those who are going to Moanroe, here is my offer to ya'll. Since I'm not going to Moanroe and the ASU-UNT game starts at 1 pm, I will provide updates on the ASU-UNT game. Any takers on this?
P.S.- Text messages only.
P.S.S.- Just know you probably won't get your first update until a little bit after the Cajuns game starts because I'll be at wedding till about 2:30.
I, along with 3 others, plan on going up. Probably will stop off in Marksville on the way back (will feel lucky after kicking some red tail).
Would like text msg updates....

Price for the trip is $80 (with game ticket) or $65 (without game ticket). Both prices include refreshments on the bus.

The bus ONLY rolls if we meet a minimum number of riders so please tell all your friends to CATCH THE BUS TO MONROE!

OK, so which group of tailgaters is going to Monroe?
Don't you feel a bit intimidated when you see the opponents all over Cajun Field, flying flags and showing pride?
It is time we learn what it can be like to be the ones who can cause that feeling amongst the home team's fans!
I would even lend all our tailgating stuff to someone if they want to get it there. We have 2, 10 x 10 EZ up tents and lots of Cajun colored car wash type decorations, tables, chairs, a t level stove, burners, tons of pots and giant Cajuns spoons, etc.
Anyone up for the task of being put in charge of securing a spot, hauling the stuff and setting up? It may be easier to rent the tent and furniture and just haul the cooking stuff.
Edit***
I spoke to ULM and the woman in charge of the spots is out sick today, but will call me tomorrow. The best we can figure is there is a designated spot for visitor's tailgating and it is first come - first served.
I called a tent rental place and we can get a 16x16 for $110, tables for $7 and chairs for 95 cents each. They will set up and take down. So I figured for $175 we could have enough stuff for a medium sized tailgate.
If anyone is available to haul our stuff, let me know.
That's great, tell him, I'll have a beer (or two or three) waiting for him.Originally Posted by Zeebart21
