Who is going to Monroe?

My husband made a deal with my son before yesterday's game. The deal went something like this: If the Cajun's beat FIU we would take a different route home from our annual Thanksgiving trip to Arkansas and attend the Monroe game.

Who is going? Is anyone tailgating?

We love the pregame fellowship involved with tailgating, but since we'll be on the returning end of a week long trip, we won't be loaded down with the right gear.

I'd love to meet up with a group before the game.

I had a chat with the priest of Our Lady of WIsdom on campus and he infoRmed me that they were going to get 1 or 2 buses of parishoners and students. Also, pretty much everyone I talked to at the game was making plans to go.

I wouldn't be surprised if we brought 5,000 fans there.

Fr. Chester is awesome isn't he? Well, if anyone can get me a direct flight from Chicageaux to Funreaux, I'll go. Oh yeah, you gotta pay for it too, cuz i'm broke! lol. It should be a good one though.

I just looked at my calender and realized that is my weekened off. This is a huge game for the Cajuns and they need us there. I'm setting up plans and seeing who is all going. I'm going to keep updated this week.

I will be there with 3 friends. If one of the big tailgating groups is going, I'd be glad to ante up some money for some food. We will be bringing our own beer and other essential items, but a 2 door sports car cant carry much more.
