So, really what your are saying is that it is conceivable that ULM's loss to Northwestern State hurts US as much as it does THEM in the long run?

I'm not buying it.

IF the BCS Title game can take teams that didn't even win their conference I don't see why the opposite can't happen in the Sunbelt.

I don't see why the Sunbelt would be prevented from determining the final pecking order of its football season BEFORE submitting the list to the bowl committee.

Once the NO Bowl committee recieves the ordered list they can then go down the list in an orderly fashion and make sure they pick the first valid bowl team.
