I hope no one is thinking of putting this Los on Masson. If his pick hadn't come after 4 other turnovers, we would probably have been up by 2 touchdowns and it wouldn't have been so costly. This loss was a TEAM effort.

Oh, yeah, and we lost with black helmets. They suck!

I don't think anyone is putting the loss on Masson BUT his turnover was the most costly. The team was able to rebound after the previous Int's and we had the lead at that point and were pushing to extend that lead by a minimum of 3 points if not a TD. It was also a 2nd half turnover that absolutely killed our momentum and deflated the team. Is the loss on Masson? Maybe not. Was his Turnover the most crucial and a back breaker? Yep......

As a senior, you don't make that throw. It's a terrible decision and we were within field goal range. He had Green in the flat and while he was somewhat covered, he could have made a catch and gotten a few yards with little risk.

Their record may be terrible but we can't run the football. Their passing game is one of the best in the country (I know that sounds stupid but look up the stats ) and they are a BCS team with BCS athletes. At least we get a bye week before to heal up and rest but I do not think we take this. We haven't been able to do anything on the D-Line in about a month and I don't think we have the firepower to keep up with them. It could be an entertaining game to watch though.

I don't think we walk out of there with a win with how we've been playing on the Ol and DL but it may be interesting

Good point. Blaine actually looked a bit flustered in this game. Throwing when he wasn't set and just setting the ball up in the wind. Not sure that was smart. Aplin's passes were all bullets under the wind to underneath routes or intermediate routes and he never threw the ball while he wasn't set. Blaine just looked a little flustered and I'm not sure if the pressure was getting to his timing.

I agree. We were getting open on the long routes, but Gautier was lofting up high, arching passes that kept getting caught up in the wind. I hate to keep harping on Masson, but his pick had absolutely nothing to do with the wind. Also, I know it probably wouldn't have made a difference anyway, but we were playing that last drive like it was the middle of the 2nd quarter instead of being under 3 minutes to go.
