The other great trick for free parking at the Dome is to park on Earhart boulevard and then walk across the pedestrian bridge from Claiborne, over the railroad tracks, and then putting you down at the foot of the Arena on Girod Street. I've been doing it for years - and this area is getting safer now that Home Depot has opened and the B.W. Cooper projects have mostly been torn down.
I was just wondering for the ones that are watching at home. What is your pre-game meal today? I decided to fry Southern Kingfish, Spec-Trout, Sand Trout, Croaker, Redfish, fries, fried jalopenos, hushpuppies and sweet potato-potato chips. I cooked for 3 solid hours and enjoyed every minute of it knowing what is going to happen later tonight.
