You know it is what it is, so lets just enjoy the end of the streak.

However, but, except, (this isn't directed at anyone, not even the writers) it's just that I have read it so many times in the past few weeks I thought I would mention.

Based on current criteria, UL has been bowl eligible . . .

5 times in the last 10 years.
8 times in the last 20 years.
14 times in the last 30 years.
18 times in the last 40 years.
19 times from bowl to bowl.

UL is not your average bowl drought team.

Lets make up for lost games, GEAUX-CAJUNS

Yeah, it always annoys me when some writers call us an SBC bottom-dweller. Some years that may be true, but generally not. We've been middle of the pack often, and occasionally challenged (unsuccessfully) for the top.

Why are we doing a story about UL and San Diego State and this guy is wearing purple and gold. the Advertiser photographer, should have told him to change or no photo. the Advertiser, GEEZ, No common sense.

I prefer that train of thought than to take cheap shots at the fella who acknowledged his love and favortism for UL in the article.

Most people prefer and are more loyal to the university where they got their Bachelor's degree than graduate degree(s).

The victim has not been identified, but NOPD is looking for a black, late model Nissan Maxima or Altima that hit the victim's car from the rear, causing it to careen out of control into a light post where it exploded into flames, and left the scene. Hit-and-run.
