The big conferences are cherry picking USA not the sunbelt. you are delusional to think that they would poach the sunbelt before USA in the future. and i am thinking bigger, and to put us in the best position to get picked up is going CUSA

So...are you saying that ONLY the New Orleans Bowl gives away some of it's tickets to sponsors and the like? That is why the term "distributed" is used.

I think that's the point. With the teams that CUSA is losing, the talent level in that conference is a lot more similar to the 'Belt's now.

ADDENDUM: Also, the talent level in the 'Belt has increased significantly in just the last few years!!

Uhh, I don't think Illinois is any more "winnable" than SDSU. Illinois had a really good mobile QB and some nice skill players and their defense is better than SDSU's so just because their record is not as good doesn't mean they are not as good of a team.
