I just saw on katc that there only 600 more tickets allotted to UL before encroaching on the Aztec side. I'd be willing to bet that a lot more bought tickets through ticketmaster than you'd think

18K tickets sold is outstanding. You can be sure that no other school has approached that number for the New Orleans Bowl. Do not be fooled about total attendance figures given. That number includes corporate sponsor tickets.
Local NOLA Q: How well is this game marketed in the New Orleans area?
The saints have worked out a deal where season ticket holders get tickets to the NO bowl for 10 dollars
Section 101 Row 23.............Endzone...hopefully will see the cajuns it it!!
Have to say that 18K sold through the school isn't too bad for this year. I hope we can improve on that number in the future. But, I'm sure the number of Cajun fans will be much more than that. I know of some Cajun fans in Lafayette that didn't like the fact that they couldn't pick out their seats, so they went through Ticketmaster. With some of the complaints I heard about the process, I wouldn't be surprised if the number of Cajun fans who did that is significant.
I have had a few friends call me in the last day or two asking if I had any spare tickets. I believe there will be 3-4000 tickets sold this week from people who have just recently decided to go to the game. I may be wrong
Anybody know how many ticket sales are required to get the full amount for the bowl appearance?
