But bigearl, it seems as if you were given the reason ... they processed 15,000 tickets already; if they were processing yours, someone else would be waiting.
They are placing people in seats based on the priority they listed (and I see you are in priority 1); your seats have probably been assigned but it takes time to reach everyone. When is the last time you tried calling 1500 people (or whatever the number is). This is a long slow process, but I imagine it is the best possible method to ensure value is given to a) RCAF membership and b) season ticket holders.

They are trying desperately to be finished with the calls by Sunday.

And I would expect there will be a better, quicker process next year - you HAVE to prioritize RCAF and season tickets and UL getting credit for the sales.

Then you should be fine. You'll get the call.

I think the biggest problem the ticket office faced was they were given actual tickets and not access to a database to pull seats from, like Ticketmaster. It would have been very difficult for them to allow people to pick seats this way. What a nightmare.

Just my opinion, but I think the whole thing about taking "deposits" was kind of silly...it just created WAY more work for the staff and didn't really serve any purpose.

They should have just waited for the tickets to arrive and perhaps let RCAF members purchase a few days before the general public. You pay your money and walk away with the tickets. They might even have been able to let people choose their sections that way.

Rebirth and Givers will rock Friday night. If you haven’t had the chance to take in a Givers show in Lafayette over the years you should try to make it. Some LHS grads making to the big time!!!

I take it back, it's not small time. It's archaic, or if you don't like that, then it's antiquated. There is no excuse for this. I still say, if we did not know we were invited until last Sunday this would have been FUBAR and plenty of people would totally p$$$ed. I don't think the supporters of USC, Texas, Ohio State or LSU would stand for an operation like this. If this was a private business they wouldn't last long.

Hey guys, another SDSU fan here. To add on to McQ's info, here's some info...

QB - #14 Ryan Lindley has a NFL body and arm but isn't the most accurate passer. He's completing about 50 percent of his passes. (partly do to wr's lack of experience)

RB - #13 Ronnie Hillman is legit. As crazy as it sounds he's drawn comparisons to one of your state's own in Marshall Faulk. He's THAT type of talent. He's a smaller scat back but he isn't afraid to pound the ball inside, as a matter of fact a majority of his long breakaway runs have been between the tackles. If your D can hold him under 150 it will be impressive.

WR - #24 Colin Lockett is a converted DB that has legit breakaway speed but his route running is still developing and gets a case of the drops every now and then. #10 Dylan Denso is a former walk on who is more of a possession type receiver but he also has dropped a lot of passes this year.

TE - #88 Gavin Escobar is probably the best NFL prospect on the team. He's 6-6 250 can run and has soft hands. He's a budget version of Tony Gonzalez. He is by far our best receiver. #87 Bryce Quigley is a good all around TE and #7 Alston Umuolo is as well.

OL - A solid experienced group that doesn't give up a lot of sacks and blocks well in the run game. They do seem to have trouble against smaller faster DL.

DL - Small and fast. The ends are basically linebackers with their hands down. #94 Jerome Long is an absolute beast. He's second on the team in tackles from his defensive tackle position.

LB - #9 Miles Burris is another monster. He plays the "rush" linebacker position in the 3-3-5. He's been hampered for most of the year with a high ankle sprain but has still managed to lead the team in tackles, sacks and tackles for loss.

CB - #2 Leon McFadden can be a flat out eraser. He can take away half of the field and has led to #29 Larry Parker becoming an all-conference player since teams vary rarely throw in his direction. Unfortunately he's so good that he can sometimes get lazy and fall asleep out there and get burned deep.

S - #20 Nat Behre plays with a mean streak and loves contact. He's been playing so well as of late he was moved over to the "Aztec" position in the 3-3-5 that was manned by Brian Urlacher while he was at New Mexico. The other two safeties have shown the coverage skills that we would like so if you use a lot of four and five receiver sets that would be the best area to attack our D.

Overall, we are pretty talented team that seems to come out sloppy on both sides of the ball in the first half, gets an ___-chewing in half time and comes out on fire in the second half.

You are better off supporting the local business here in Lafayette. If anyone does not live here message me and I will ship shirts to you. Albertson’s has some nice shirts for $9.99, but no kid’s size. Smallest shirt is an adult small.

PS I don't think we'll bring 10k, probably closer to 3k. If we had more than a weeks notice I think we would have hit that 10k mark. Either way, I'll be there Thursday ready to party and cheer on my team.
