Interested just not alot of intel on your team..

All we do is run. Pay no attention to the tall tight end, he has hands of stone. Also if you gain 200 yards against our defense you will be doing well. Best bet is to chunk it deep all game long and hope for the best. Don't count on getting any kickoff returns, as our kickoff guys is the second coming of morten anderson. I predict a 12-6 game. I doubt any cajun fans will even show up to see it though, I predict a quiet dome.

To be fair, there are a ton of Cal State ______ schools. There's also a University of San Diego. So they kinda stand out with the SDSU

The main point of my posts on this thread was to throw out an idea that SDSU came up with an admirable thought, then turned it into a plan to help some kids, maybe a lot of kids get to go to a bowl game & enjoy the holiday season because their fans couldn't make the game. In the process they were going to try to buy out their allotment of tickets to help their school defray the cost of the bowl game. I thought this was such a great idea that maybe you guys would join in with me on helping them get some hats or shirts for them to wear. I was thinking that we could challenge SDSU if we bought hats for them to go ahead & buy shirts or vice versa through one or more of the New Orleans charities for the kids to wear to the stadium.

This would be a wonderful thing that the people coveing the game would eat up. It would give both schools tons of great publicity while helping the New Orleans community at the same time & telling them that we don't just want to come to your city & act like a bunch of slobbeing drunks that trash your city , but we do care about you & want you to be a part of our good time. There is no law against this & it would most likely set a precedent for bowl games from here on out that would make people stand up & take notice that San Diego State & the university of LOUISIANA are two schools with really big hearts. Like I said yesterday, if one has to be so negative, cheap, & narrow minded about it that they can't get the point, then forget I brought it up.

same here - RCAF, Season ticket holder, I ordered 18 tickets, paid, etc. and NOTHING. Not impressed.

I kinda glad Gautier's numbers are hidden. Nothing a good coaching staff couldn't decipher but numbers the talking heads will overlook.

I was just trying to get the thread back on topic. I got hamered on this thread all day yesterday for trying to do something good & help the school at the same time. It's irritating when one tries to do the right thing & half the people who benefit from it for the most part just trash the idea to pieces without one single soul saying hey that is good, or let's think about this. I hear folks talk about class all the time on here, yet when some of them have the chance to DO something classy, they snub their noses at it. It gets irritating.

K- On O we run the ball-traditional no frills. Sometime 2 TE (3 of the BEST TE's in the country any school). Ronnie Hillman (was the #1 D-1A RB most of the year) will take the rock or split out for a pass- both effective. His backups are solid as well and we have a very strong FB for short yardage.

WR's a weakness- our top 3 got hurt (one academic casulty but will be back next year) so we are working with converted DB's for the most part. Never know- sometime hot most of the time cold.

Punting- exceptional- doubt we need it much in this game. Kicking exceptional excluding FGs. Out guy chokes often in clutch situations (cost us Wyoming game with his 3 miss's).

Oline- good luck they are solid- Michigan handled them with an All American NG otherwise-good luck with that.

D-lol your in for a thrill and potentially lots of sacks.

Overall this is a well coached team that often gets lost in the 1st half only to wake up in the 2nd 1/2 and crush people.

BTW I know Charlieks comments are BS as I have a relative on the UofA staff.

I didn't insult you either. I just said you don't know jack crap about recruiting. While we're at it, you don't know much about human nature either. Just because "those people" may be poor doesn't mean that they don't have any pride, dignity, or any common sense. It also doesn't mean that they can't keep score. They understand completely & absolutley who did what, when, & where. And when somebody comes knocking on little Johnny's door to talk to mom for his atheletic services, it won't take 15 minutes for the whole neighborhood to remember what kind of love was left when so & so visited the Mercedes Bens Superdome.

You would do yourself a lot of good to go on the SDSU website & read how those people came up with the idea to begin with. Their thinking wasn't any different than mine so once again you can get off your self-righteous high horse. Since obviously you're spoiling for another round with me, you would do good to understand that I am trying to help this school instead of thinking yourself the supreme defender of the school, site, or whatever you think the Allmighty has appointed you to be the sentinal of.
