I didn't insult you either. I just said you don't know jack crap about recruiting. While we're at it, you don't know much about human nature either. Just because "those people" may be poor doesn't mean that they don't have any pride, dignity, or any common sense. It also doesn't mean that they can't keep score. They understand completely & absolutley who did what, when, & where. And when somebody comes knocking on little Johnny's door to talk to mom for his atheletic services, it won't take 15 minutes for the whole neighborhood to remember what kind of love was left when so & so visited the Mercedes Bens Superdome.
You would do yourself a lot of good to go on the SDSU website & read how those people came up with the idea to begin with. Their thinking wasn't any different than mine so once again you can get off your self-righteous high horse. Since obviously you're spoiling for another round with me, you would do good to understand that I am trying to help this school instead of thinking yourself the supreme defender of the school, site, or whatever you think the Allmighty has appointed you to be the sentinal of.
Appreciate the good sentiments guys and gals...but don't worry, there will still be a few of us real, live Aztec fans in the flesh for ya to kick around amidst the packs of kiddies. Looking forward to a few days in your fine state and sharing in some good grub and libations on Bourbon Street.
As far as message boards go, please refer to AztecMesa.com (the link mentioned by Bandwagon King above) for the most active. We have two other boards that I wouldn't suggest as they are either less frequented or simply more frequented by those that might try to go out of there way to start s&*$ just for the sake of it.
I think it is great that you put in good articles about the Cajuns, since past reporters have been biased and reported more on the Tigers than the Cajuns. I think it is a shame that the 2nd place team in the Sun Belt didn't get invited to a bowl ...
But Western Kentucky, like UL, belongs to the Sun Belt. The New Orleans Bowl didn't want to pair two Sun Belt teams, which was just as well for the Cajuns, since coach Mark Hudspeth had no interest in a rematch. And Ball State? The Cardinals ...
Wow...it was amazing to read thru this to see all that took place behind the scenes, involving the other bowls and such, to finally arrive at SDSU. Nice read.
Just got this in an e-mail. I didn't see it posted yet.
