yea they said that when we fill out the form we should check the box that says "student" and that they would put those in an separate pile and reserve a section for them. Did you put down a deposit or did you just go buy them? If so, that seems unfair if the people who put down a deposit still haven't gotten their tickets while everyone who didn't put down a deposit is able to just go buy them right now.

My understanding is that all of those who put down deposits earlier had their seating assignments locked. It just takes time to call approx. 10K people. The ones who buy later are not getting to leapfrog those who put up deposits early. At least that's how I understand the system to be set up. Can mistakes happen? Sure. But that's not the system, it would be human error. And realize that this is a new procedure for most of the UL staff.

What I'm unsure of is, if Houston Loses and we have 5 teams eligible, why wouldn't there be a possibility of a CUSA team in the bowl.

So now what? Houston will not be in the BCS. How does this affect us?

Just think. CUSA played themselves out of a BCS bowl game. You know how much money that would have brought the Conference. All because they have a championship game. WOW.

This is not the fault of the conference title game, it's the fault of Houston for not showing up in this game. USM took it seriously and are gonna win a conference title.

We went at noon on the Tuesday after the announcement party, made a reservation for 22 and got the call last Monday, picked up Tuesday.
