I hope the other team does not have red as a primary color so we can really show our colors, pick out fellow Cajuns and leave no doubt that we have taken over New Orleans.
IMO, CWS is bigger than this. Not all schools can say they went to world series!!!!!
Ok, here's the real official scoop. All tickets will be assigned on line. You print your reservation on your printer (use color laser printer if you want "pretty"). You then show up at the Mercedes Benz Super Dome, ticket reservation in hand, and the TSA (Ticket Supervisers of America) will then put you in a long line. At this point we are now all equal but glowing with anticipation, excitement and the need to tinkle really bad!!
Then, much anticipated, you proceed to the head of the line after snaking through the teller ropes for 2 hours. Hope you got in line before 5:30! The light shines brightest upon your arrival to the front of the line, food in belly from tailgating. Then....you discover that you must strip to the boxers in a vain effort to prove you are not trying to sneak in a dangerous mixed drink or
two.
Ok, now you are now really jumping with anticipation, ready to watch your Cajuns kick some (soon to be named) butt. WOW, WOW! WOW!!!. Buttttt, oops. They over booked the game and you get offered a free ticket to next years Goat Bowl to watch WKU and LA Tech.!!!!!!
Moral of this story? Chill! This admin is organized and smart. Thy shall be taken care of and we will all have a night to remember ( or forget, depending on how much you drink). GEAUX CAJUNS!!!!
That was great.. thanks.. ps: I could never understand why they did not install lights in the indoor facility.. I guess they didn't think they would need them at night.. they might have to re think that!..lol....
The 11th annual New Orleans Bowl is Saturday, Dec. 17, kickoff at 8:05 p.m. (approximately), at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome (73,208 capacity). All team practices will also be held at the Superdome beginning on either Tuesday or Wednesday, Dec. 13-14. The game will air nationally on ESPN and on ESPN Radio at 8 p.m., with the local radio broadcast on KPEL-AM (1420) and KHXT-FM (107.9).
If you're buying those tickets, then you're not purchasing them through the UL Ticket Office. ALL tickets sold by UL will be reserved seats. The only way to purchase General Admission tickets is through the New Orleans Bowl and their ticket outlets/website.
BUY YOUR TICKETS THROUGH UL ! You'll get better seating AND help our University.
