Initial thoughts are they would not betray the fanbase that reserved tickets in advance. Maybe they have the best seats reserved for those people and after all are contaced they will release those seats to be sold. Idk. Just can't see the administration doing something like that. So far they have done everything right.
I got the bowl rate at Astor crowned today
Earlier today I paid for my tickets but they still didn't have the actual tickets just the price
The Ragin’ Cajuns football team made history on Monday as they accepted an invitation to the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl marking the University of Louisiana’s first bowl appearance in 41 years.

Same thought here. There will be thousands of upset fans if they start handing out tickets before they hand out the ones that have a deposit.
Looked like the "tickets" being sold at the rally were deposits also. I do not know for sure but it looked like they were filling out paperwork and no tickets being distributed. Can anyone verify this?
I also heard they were taking deposits tonight.
I was told the phone calls should start tomorrow now that the offical announcement has been made. It is my understanding that tickets will be distributed according to your RCAF donation (amount given), season tickets, students and general public. How early you put down your deposit will have no bearing on the tickets you are entitled to. That is my understanding.
I wasn't contacted either today. It states on the RaginCajuns website that those of us that reserved "deposits" will be contacted by the UL ticket office to finalize our purchase. I seriously doubt they are allowing others to purchase tickets ahead of the "deposit holders". I hope there's a way they can let us know where the $42 and $62 seats are before they ask me what I want.
No matter what, the deposit holders have to get first choice of seats (in the order of RCAF and season ticket holders) if the whole "deposit system" is legitimate. UL cannot make RCAF/season ticket holders/deposit buyers believe they are going to be contacted... and then start selling anyway to those that call UL first. I bet figuring out how to get this done is driving the ticket office nuts.
The Hyatt. It's like I'll be sleeping IN the Dome!
