I am not talking about there business they make serveral football games a year. They are season ticker holders for baseball. So again before you make a comment about them make sure you know what you are talking about. Yes they are personal friends of mine so I know that they are supporters of the University and like I said neither of them are UL alum.

    Who owns the "UL" Bookstore?

    Thought so.

I wish they would quit bashing all the self funded businesses who invest in UL merchandise.

If you don't know what I am talking about, I will explain later.

That article does not make it any more official than if I posted something on a website that said we are going. The official invite will come around 6 pm tonight. Unofficially, we have already accepted, hence why they are throwing the party tonight

Thanks figured they'd lost when talk of them died down

I agree, I would love to see UL play against a team from a "bigger" conference. Big 10 or Big East would be pretty cool. Would be interesting to see how we would match up.

Not that it would happen, but how about this idea.
The battle for the title of "UL"

UL (Louisville) vs. UL (University of Louisiana)

That would be a lot of red in the Dome.

Would you rather play SMU, East Caolina, or Marshall.....or Iowa State, Iowa, Purdue, or Syracuse?

To me, if SMU is not coming, I 'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for a shot at one of those Major programs.
One of the ESPN guys has us projected playing Illinois.

I beg to differ, I think the official invite and acceptance has already taken place, tonight is the university announing to the public.

Yeah my sister worked for them for many years. Great people. I don't like others on here questioning their commitment to UL. Get to know them first before you judge.

I don't think we want any part of Iowa or Iowa State. Purdue or Syracuse would be a good test. I'd be very confident against any of the CUSA teams other than Houston, although Southern Miss would be a tough win.
