My guess is we will play SMU or UCF.
I've been thinking SMU for about a month now. I believe they have six wins ATM, and I'm guessing they would fill an automatic C-USA spot.
F¥€k Tech and their inbred redneck fans. They did everything possible to keep us and any other SunBelt team out of the I-bowl but now they want to play us in New Orleans because it would be convenient for their fans. Screw 'em! Let them lose money playing in the Spud Bowl in front of 100 Neck fans in subzero temps where their ands will be as blue as the turf.
UCF's loss to ECU last night ensures UCF will not be bowl eligible this year.
Didn't know that UCF would not be bowl eligible. I'm now thinking SMU...which I think would be a fun game. Also...I would LOVE to play Illinois.
Btw...great comments, Hammer, concerning the Techie Neckies. As stated earlier, if we NEVER play them again in ANY sport, I would be a very happy man.
Great food to be had in New Orleans - here's a link for three great restaurants to consider! La Boca is an Argentine Steak house and there are links at the bottom of it's website for Rio Mar (Seafood) & A Mano (Italian). http://www.labocasteaks.com/
CUSA has 6 bowl game commitments, including one played on the SMU campus (Armed Forces Bowl). I can see SMU playing a bowl game in their own stadium this year but can't see them traveling to New Orleans.

Right now CUSA can't fill their 6th bowl slot, but they still have a shot of filling it. UTEP has 5 wins and can become bowl eligible by beating UCF this Saturday, and both Marshall and ECU have 5 wins, so the winner of their game on Saturday will go bowling while the other stays home. We could face either UTEP or the winner of Marshall/ECU.
.
CBS has us playing Syracuse.
