Maybe it's you that doesn't know. They can't quote prices because they don't have any info yet. That is why they are taking a deposit to go towards the price of the ticket.

You won't be able to buy the same seat for a better price by going to the NO bowl website ... you also won't be helping the university, but by the way you want to blame someone else expect that doesn't matter to you.

These type of posts really need to go away. I know it is America and everybody has the right but this is just stupid.

Does the Sunbelt Conference get any funds from this bowl game, and if so, where does that money come from?

Must UL "share" this potential 500K payout with anyone?

Does the opposing team receive the same payout (assuming they sell the same number of tickets)?

You people need to get the hell over your sensitivity.
The reason you buy the ticket option though UL is so they get maximum benefit. The bowl knows who is buying the tickets, the team gets a split on sales above the miimum. I have been to many games in the Mercedes Super Dome, and there are hardly any "bad" seats. Get your tickets now, support UL, you will be glad with your choice. Do not support our opponent by supplementing their income flowl.

Can't wait to go party in the lovely French Quarter that Saturday. Hell, only 12 people got shot there on Monday this week. Or was it 15 and 3 died but 12 still survived? Either way, hide yo wife and chillrenz.

    Will be there regardless.

The New Orleans Bowl record is about 30,200 in attendance. We're going to blow that totally out of the water!!!!!

There are some really dumb people in this thread. No offense.

All you are getting is a reservation to buy tickets when they become available.

    RCAF members get first dibs.

    Then season ticket holders.

Then Student members of an RCAF for students group.

THEN you bandwaggoners who have done none of the above will get a shot.

The ticket office will fulfill ticket orders in that order.

AND YES YOU WANT TO BUY FROM UL FOR THE REASONS STATED PREVIOUSLY AD NAUSEUM.

We ought to have close to that number just from UL fans. Then add the other team's fans and locals who just want to come out to the sporting event, and you have the makings of a very nice crowd - if not a sell-out.

I explained this to some of my co-workers who want tickets. I told them that it really doesn't do them any good to reserve tickets because they are last on the list and will end up with the same tickets even if they don't reserve any early.

Tell them to become an RCAF member at the same time!

It will still most likely get you a better seat at a better price than other wise. You can pretty much bank that there will still be some good seats available when the RCAF & season ticket holders are done. The rest will be first come first serve. WHen you consider the Superdome holds some 42,000 people on the sidelines.

Shouldn't RCAF Season Ticket holders get first dibs?

Well at least I get a shot, that is all I can ask.
