While I want to go to the New Orleans Bowl as badly as everyone else and I would much rather spend a weekend in New Orleans than anywhere else for a bowl game, I find it interesting that while looking at multiple bowl projections there are differeing opinions as to which bowl we will be attending on the bowl projection sites. A couple even have us at bowls other than New Orleans or Go Daddy. I'm not really sure what these sites use to predict the bowl standings but it is interesting to see the different opinions that are out there.
GoDaddy.com

BBVA Compass Jan. 7 Birmingham, Ala. 1 p.m. SEC No. 8/9 vs. Big East No. 5/C-USA La.-Lafayette* vs. Cincinnati
GoDaddy.com Bowl

MAC No. 2 vs. Sun Belt
Projection: Temple vs. UL Lafayette
Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, December 30, 2011 San Francisco, CA - 3:40 pm ESPN
Payout: $1.675 million - Pac-12 No. 6 vs. Army (WAC if Army not available)
Projection: Louisiana-Lafayette vs. Eastern Michigan
this paints a fairly murky future on the bowl game. The only thing that all the sites did have was UL projected to a bowl and that alone is a good feeling
You do realize that the people who make these projections don't have a clue how sun belt bowl tie-ins work and they are just randomly guessing?
Just left the dome, they had quite a few people reserving tickets for the bowl game. Lady taking payment said it has been steady crowd today.
