I ranked them that way because of expectations of the programs involved, and the amount of exposure winning in the NCAA tournament brings in comparison to the WCWS. All four choices are fantastic though!

I understand they have to place those that have put down a deposit first... so, how can they sell tickets before those seats are filled?.. unless they are gen admission.. the tic guy told me the 62.00 tics are VERY limited and are being reserved for VIP's then whatever's left over will be sold.. if any.. anyway... that's my take.....
I don't think any "tickets" are out yet ... with there being a heirarchy of ticket redemption, it seems to me we need to hear about a deadline for anyone to get in their seat "reservations". Now I am speaking mainly of RCAF, season ticket holders, etc. that have yet to respond ... they would get the best of the rest available seats; then tickets would open up to the casual buyer.

    Just my take.

I believe Jay said "You can walk up and buy a ticket". Not get one in your hand.

It sounds like these people are basically putting a deposit down with 100% of the money instead of the $30 that we all did.

Just because we've underachieved in football doesn't mean making a bowl game is more impressive.
    good statistics and good point

UL Won the national powerlifting championships this year - biggest national sports achievement so far this year.

UL football is a "breakthrough" year, but not greatest football season so far .... #1 Oil Bowl 1944 , #2 Grantland Rice Bowl 1970 (9-2 regular season?) ... however, after this season is over plus the bowl game results, then we decide how this year's team ranks.

Yeah, but I'd bet you that jay thinks you could walk away with a ticket... he has no Idea... he doesn't have to worry about that..lol... so, I guess what has to happen is the ticket office has to bust ___ to 'catch up' and assign tickets even while reservations are still being made! They cannot sell ONE physical ticket until that is done...It must be hectic in that office.. I'd be curious to know how many reservations were made just today! Geaux Cajuns!

Are they going to issue generic tickets that don't have the actual opponents playing in the New Orlans Bowl?

I would hope not. Hang tight.

I would hope we get really nice looking tickets with both teams listed on them, pretty and in color. I don't want no cheap looking Ticket Master stuff.

I hope the other team does not have red as a primary color so we can really show our colors, pick out fellow Cajuns and leave no doubt that we have taken over New Orleans.

Hey, no problem. You have to take a shot when you see an opening.

IMO, CWS is bigger than this. Not all schools can say they went to world series!!!!!

    Awesome video!

Great summary of the night, indeed. And seeing as the replay of the event is STILL NOT yet on the website, this will do! I'll likely be sending out the beauty to some family/friends that didn't get a chance to make it or watch online.

good question. I would think they might hold off printing tickets until an opponent is announced. I would hope so anyway
