There have been some bad advice in this thread. Mothers ??? Deanies ??? Really ... You guys deserve better ... This is a list that I sent out via email to a few friends who are coming in today and tomorrow for the week:

French Quarter: Casual Places - Stanley (for breakfast/brunch) This is a MUST, Central Grocery for a muff, Johnny's Poboy, Gumbo Shop, Cafe Du Monde

French Quarter: Nicer Places - GW Fins, Bayona, Stella, K-Pauls, Irene's, Mr. B's, Pelican Club, Galatoire's (If you would like an AWESOME long Friday lunch experience - Get in line by 9:00am or pay someone to wait for you)

Warehouse District: Cochon (I know that there is one in lafayette), Emerils, Tommy's, A mona, La Boca

CBD: Herbsaint, Luke, Restaurant August, Drago's (charbroiled Oysters).

Yeah, so you and I agree on 0...Nada...NOTHING! Today is a first. Stanley is excellent. The Eggs Stella is unmatched as far as breakfast goes.

Props for at least knowing decent grub when you see it.

My lady friend and part owner of the Rock n Bowl told me that every year they host both N.O. Bowl teams 'on seperate nights' of a night of bowling and music and 'whatevhah'. What a perfect match eh?.. Rocking Bowl "ing"... Has anyone ever been to the Rock n Bowl?.. ...... who did you see?.... they have some great local music there... AND bowling!...lol..fun times...

The tickets that are being missed are the sponsor tickets. I just received 4- 300 level tickets from a sponsor. They are not the main sponsor and had 1000 tickets for employees and customers. Also the 5k race includes a ticket to the game which I donated to the Untied Way. I think 40,000 is going to be about right.

I went once and it was a blast. Great bands, good dance floor, great time. Recommend it highly.
