I figure that if the pay-out is listed as $500,000 - we'd have to sell 8,333 tickets @ $60 each to get that listed pay-out. If that is the case, we shouldn't have any problem going well over that amount!

My friend reserved his, mine, and my wife's the other day, so there's 3 more. With that said, if anyone hears anyone concerned about reserving tickets "because we might go somewhere else" its our job to help get the real information out to them. The NO bowl cannot officially invite us until the conference slate is over or a definite conference champion has been decided, but they will be inviting us. Just yesterday, a friend of mine said that her dad had heard rumor we might end up in Detroit, we really need to help dispel these rumors and help with ticket sales. If anyone asks or has any questions just tell them what we know and emphasize the fact that they moved graduation just to accommodate, they wouldn't have done so if the NO bowl wasn't a done deal.

I did 5 the first day they were taking them. Going to add 3 more to that this week.

When I put my deposit down my seat was listed as 1600, 1601, and so on. I was thinking that was the number of deposits sold. I put down a deposit for 7 after our win Sat night.

That 1600....... is not the amount of deposits. I reserved 8 the first day and I think those were my same numbers. I'm now up to 28 people coming in my group.

  8. Default Bowl picture just starting to take shape

To many college football fans in this region, Tuesday's 66-63 track meet between Toledo and Western Michigan was probably little more than some silly little game between two MAC teams that don't seem to practice defense.

To those interested in the Sun Belt Conference, however, it was actually more than that.

  9. Default Cajuns forced to wait for bowl invite

JONESBORO, Ark. — They wanted to go bowling in style, winning this weekend and perhaps accepting an invitation sometime later this week. Instead, the UL Ragin' Cajuns will go with another scuff on their shoes. A loss Saturday at Arkansas State ...

We need for Western Kentucky to lose 1 more game...then the invite will happen.
