I'd rather not play a team with a powerful runner.

I am not familiar with Bobby Rainey, but if he is as good as Ronnie Hillman, he is damn good.

I believe the end zone is going to say "Saints," similar to the way it looks now.

I doubt SDSU sells 10K tickets. A non-AQ team within the region or evan a AQ team would have been better than SDSU. All of their fans have to fly in. The product may not be worth the price to them. SDSU does not have a fan base that travels like an AQ. A regional non-AQ teams fans could at least drive in for the game. I just feel like the Cajuns got the short end of the stick here. Geaux Cajuns!
Ratings won't be as bad as playing a MAC program. The San Diego metro area has over 4 mil people in it, more then the state of Louisiana. If San Diego can travel a couple thousand, UL brings around 20,000 and they sell another 8,000 tickets in the New Orleans community, they could easily break the record of 30,000 attendance for the NO Bowl. Not as bad as you think.

I'm glad he gets to play us. We will have someone he can look up to!!

  8. Default New Orleans Bowl 'thrilled' to host San Diego State Aztecs and UL Ragin' Cajuns

Officials from the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl have spent the past few weeks playing “what if,” as in what if enough teams from Conference USA don’t qualify for bowl eligibility. So they were prepared Sunday evening when they had to dip ...

I hope we insist on "Louisiana" like our home stadium.

  11. Default After hours of waiting, San Diego State selected by New Orleans Bowl

It will be the first time that the Aztecs will play the Ragin’ Cajuns. SDSU almost did not get a bowl berth and looked like it was going to be the odd team out of the MW. The Aztecs were banking on being picked by the fourth Mountain West bowl (the New ...
