Section 135 Row 9, seats 11 &12. I went to the 3-d interactive superdome seating chart website and am happy with my seats. I am coach's level RCAF and season ticket holder.

Section 143 row 23 seats 23 & 24. I paid 42 per ticket. RCAF member and got my call last Saturday night. Picked them up yesterday.
when you get your call has nothing to do with how much you donate or anything like that. If they would have explained the process better it would have made people more patient. Basically they already have everybody slotted in their seats based on RCAF donation, season tickets and if you called and reserved. If they have not called its because they have not printed your tickets and stuffed them in a packet. You are already set in your location just have not put your pack together and called yet. I found this out through a couple phone calls and emails. Basically depends on who your ticket rep is and if he or she is behind on their work or they just have not got to your name yet to actually get your packet together.
Been out of town so don’t know where my seats are at yet, I ordered 7 tickets once it was official, then got a call from an old friend last night saying "hey I got us a suite" so I’ll be in the mix somewhere. Can’t go wrong either way, I’m ready to leave today.
By the way, for those of us living outside of Acadiana, they are using FedEx. There is an extra charge, but I do not know what it is just yet. Be ready to make arrangements to absorb the charges for the fedex shipment and give shipping information. My agent was unable to tell me anything over the phone about where the tickets were located.
equally brilliant, I wonder if "Ragin' Cajuns Do it Like a Boss" would fit nicely
To answer your question, why would you see any news release on it? They are not going to alienate any program by stating publicly that they were working behind the scenes to get either SMU or Tulsa into the R&L Carrier New Orleans Bowl.
It is smart move on their part to get a program from within the region, it means better attendance and easier travel. Now the bowl in Dallas is also trying to get SMU in their bowl because it assures them of basically selling tickets to a home team. At this point it's looking more like their efforts will not work out. Illinois has announced they will have a press conference Sunday night to accept a bowl invitation. They look to be the best bet now.
It should be Louisiana. This will help with our perception. Make them say your name and we have earned it.
No controversy: Just tell them to put the name of the State that is hosting the Bowl.
"LOUISIANA"
