I overheard one of the ticket guru's at the basketball game last night tell someone that when they left their office yesterday afternoon there were 13,800 tickets sold.
Same as what I was told!!!
Since T-Bine won't color my graphic DOME seats red that will have Cajun butts in it------Does anybody remember just how many seats at our best Tulane game were RED--If I remember they had tried to seperate the Cajun Fans---But I seem to rememer all or half the end zone and the complete side to the other end zone not counting the upper deck---Can I get a witness?????
I'm just saying that going buy one ticket to the new orleans bowl with the (ticket, and travel and a hotel unless you want to drive back at 2am) cost alot more than a 14 dollar general admission ticket to Cajun field. That is why I believe the lower attendance. I know to us die hard fans it doesn't matter, but to the 10k fans or so that were riding the fence on becoming cajun fans won't spend that money. All I have been hearing is amounts of 12 to 14k from supposed people in the know in ticket sales. I don't think we will see that much of a spike from now until the game. Again I think 15K to 20K is acceptable, but to expect 30K is kind of crazy.
The 14G are early adopters.
Early adopters are always outnumbered.
RaginCajuns.com reports over 14,000 tickets have been sold. 12-2-12
Yeah, purchased 2 tickets today. Was told they are at 14k sold. I am a RCAF member and season ticket holder and the best they could do for me was 2nd level, in the corner. I know I waited a bit, but man, I thought we had better priority with only 14K sold in a 70k seat arena. Also was told a lot of the better seats for the N.O. Bowl were comped on our sideline. I guess the big wigs are Cajuns fans.
GEAUX CAJUNS!
I spoke with an alumni friend in NO today and he says that ticket purchases from UL were not publicized at all in NO. All he knew was to go to the Dome office. No mailers to NO area alums?
