LOUISIANA La. - Each week Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns football coaching staff honors its outstanding performers from the previous week’s game by designating the Hooters/Credeur’s Players of the Week.
This week’s Hooters/Credeur’s Offensive Player of the Game Award was given to the entire offensive line. The offensive line cleared the way for UL rushers and allowed the Cajuns to rush for 327 yards.
The Defensive Player of the Game was senior defensive end Eugene Kwarteng. Kwarteng led the team in tackles with eight, including one tackle for a loss.
The Special Forces Players of the Game Award went to Ray Givens, Tyler Norman, Robert Terrell and Jonathan Vance.
The offensive scout team player of the week was Charlie Segura. The defensive scout team players of the week were David Lawson and Laquincy Williams.
The Hammer Award for biggest hit on defense also went to Tyler Norman. The Kuhuna Award for biggest hit on special teams went to wide receiver Eddie Brown.
