WTF?! GEAUX CAJUNS!!

It was awesome to be in the stands for that one. A lot of this and a lot of this My road trips had been LSU, A&M, and UNT two years ago. First time I've ever been that small contingent in the corner of the stadium getting greeted by the team. Always wondered what that was like. My first game to watch in person as well this season. Offense was unbelievable. Methodical. Zebras sucked but what else is new. Defense is still a wet bag. If they improved only slightly, it would make all the difference. On the other hand, it seems like they are playing well in the first half. Opposing offenses seem to make adjustments at halftime. Maybe we are not showing them anything different in the second half?

Mean Green Props: Cobbs is unbelievable. He carried them on his back in the second half. Meager is getting better each week. Didn't try to do too much. Took what we gave him. Starting to look like Scott Hall. Mean Green defense gave us fits in the passing game. Good pass rush and blanket coverage by the secondary. Closed out the game with a nice fireworks show.

Yeah - he's the short one! They have a nice season kickoff barbeque with the team. The kids love it 'cause they get to meet their heroes. You can tell that my guy idolizes the runningbacks! Thanks for asking.

What a game, What a MFing game!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say that the UNT game is probably one of, if not the biggest win in the history of and FOR the future history of this program.

NOW, I have to vent a little.

What an ubelieveable stable of running backs we have, and the offensive line is playing lights out. However, we need to throw the ball more. Look at what we did in the last drive of the game. That screen pass to Fenroy was what we have needed to do all season long, and more of it. Will somebody please tell our O coordinator that not every pass has to be for the home run. How about more screens, drag the tight end across the middle for 5 or so, hit a couple of quick slants, some 5 and outs, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, MAN use the talent you have.

You are so right about the defense. We can't stop a sweep and one on one coverage by the secondary is non-existent. We also seem to line up in formations that kill us and the angles our defensive players take on a running back are atrocious...

However, 3 in a row. lets just be happy for a while.

Secondary has to improve or we will get our butts beat. Yep , I agree that the sweep coverage could be better.

But what a performance by the offensive line, Jerry Babb and the running backs. Geaux Fenroy and the others.

My Daddy was born in Oklahoma and went to USC for his undergrad work and Tulane for Med School. We were always taught that Cardinal and Gold were sacred!

The only other team he supported was the Cajuns, thank God because it would be hard to hide the 12' 3" flaming fleur-de-lis I painted on our deck!

I;m not the biggest USC supporter but I respect your program more than most. I love hearing all the people around here saying how USC is overrated because they prove how ignorent they are when they say that. I have had a few arguements lately about that but hey I like to argue so its all good.
